Introducing the Maternal and Child Health Epidemiology Graduate Certificate

Maternal and Child Health Epidemiology, a new online graduate certificate program at the University of Arizona Health Sciences, is now open for enrollment for Fall 2022.

In this fully online program—housed in the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health—students from around the world will learn about the determinants, mechanisms and systems that promote and maintain the health, safety, well-being, and appropriate development of children and their families in order to enhance the future health and welfare of society.

Upon completion of the graduate certificate, which can be accomplished in as little as one year, students will be equipped contribute to the improvement of the health status of women, children and adolescents around the world. This program is affiliated with the Master of Public Health (MPH) degree. Students who successfully complete the graduate certificate and are later admitted to the MPH program may use all units toward the MPH if they choose either the MCH or the Health Behavior Health Promotion concentration.
